Hello funky people,
It's been operational for a few months now, but I wanted to take this opportunity to declare the official launch of the all new look Funk Network UK website www.fnuk.com
The aim is to create the worlds largest community of funky bands and musicians, so that everyone can network and help grow the scene. There are bands with links on the site from all over the world and it's growing all the time.
I hope you manage to make use of the great potential the site has for making contacts and opening new opportunities. Please take a few seconds to join the FORUM and help to spark off some discussions. Also please keep me on your mailing lists for your band info and gigs, it's not easy to get to a lot of gigs as I live in Newcastle, but it's nice to know whats going on.
If you are able to add a link to your own site please use the text "Funk Network UK - the funky live band database - www.fnuk.com" And make it point to http://www.fnuk.com
Please help spread the word too and get more bands from your area on the site and keep it growing.
I'm open to new ideas about how my website can help you so email me any ideas (sensible ones) :)
